They could click on the tape and hear a man’s voice singing a snippet of a song.
On the comments panel, there was a message from Dawson about farm workers’ rights.
And an invitation to join her, LIVE, at the Farmers Market the next day.
Participants could text Dawson and engage in a brief conversation.
They could also comment on Dawson’s remarks.
One audience participant posts a link to a New York Times article on farm workers’ issues that coincidentally was published that day.
