Will arrives at a carny camp on the California border, 1938. He meets Clara, the carny’s Fortune Teller, and sings a lullaby to comfort her daughter Louise.
In Seattle, a half century later, Flanery, Louise’s daughter, sings the song at her aunt Billie’s funeral.
